Water circulates in the coils of the closed cooling tower. Heat of fluid absorbed by the wall of the coil is exhausted out with the fan at the top of the tower. Un-evaporated water droplets from the process then fall into the collection tank for recycling. All the water in the coils circulates in a closed loop with minimal consumption, and the consumption of spray water is also very low.
